      Gaspé Hiking

Gaspé is derived from a Micmac word meaning 'Land’s' end.

This tour highlights the stunning beauty of La Belle Province, following the south shore of the St. Lawrence River and winding around the dramatic Gaspé Peninsula. Gaspé is renowned for its towering mountain range that plunges into the sea on both sides, making it a paradise for nature lovers. Visitors are often captivated by the area's rugged landscapes. For instance, the Mont Albert region is home to the only high alpine habitat—complete with caribou—south of the St. Lawrence River. The raw, untouched beauty of this area will leave you in awe at every turn.

      • Why This Tour is Great

        The Widest Variety of Hikes

This tour includes a vast array of hiking environments: across an island, along the coast, traversing tidal flats, through forest access roads, over technical single track trails, and even up a mountain path, all with the benefit of local hiking guides.

        Gaspé is Really Big

There’s no way to get around the long distances on Gaspé (this tour totals more than 1400 km). As such, there’s no question that the best way to explore the entirety of the Gaspé Peninsula is by deluxe motorcoach.

Hike 3 of 4 National Parks in the Gaspé Region

Parc National de la Gaspésie is a hiking paradise, with its diverse landscapes shaped by majestic mountains. Parc National de l'Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé is home to the iconic rock landmark, a thriving bird colony, and unique flora and fauna. Forillon National Park, located at the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula, offers an "end of the world" vibe and holds the distinction of being Québec's first national park.
